Pros and cons

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to use the metallic stickers every time indoors?

Can I use the Mevo+ on a real driving range without accessories?

Is the Space Edition a one-time purchase?

What simulator software comes included with the Mevo+?

The base Mevo+ includes the FlightScope Mevo+ app for iOS and Android, which covers practice range use and shot data — no course simulation. The Space Edition upgrade ($500 one-time) adds E6 Connect (limited course tier), TGC 2019, GSPro compatibility, and Creative Golf3D. Individual platform subscriptions (E6 Connect full, TGC 2019) may require additional fees depending on the tier you want.

How does the Mevo+ handle low-ceiling indoor bays?

The Mevo+ is a radar unit that needs a minimum ball flight distance to acquire the ball — roughly 6–8 feet of travel before hitting the screen. In very low-ceiling or short-depth bays (under 8 feet), shot capture can become inconsistent. Camera-based units like SkyTrak+ are generally better suited to tight indoor environments because they capture data at impact rather than during flight. For standard 10–15 foot deep simulator bays, the Mevo+ performs reliably.

Can the Mevo+ measure putting and chipping?

The Mevo+ is not designed for putting — the ball speed and flight distances involved are too low for reliable radar capture. Chipping from inside 30 yards is similarly unreliable. It’s built for full-swing shots. For a complete practice setup that includes short game, you’d need a separate putting analysis tool. This is a common limitation of radar-based launch monitors across all price points.
